At its participants meeting on Thursday 3 April, the Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR) elected the new members of its Executive Board. Nathalie Fargier, Director of the CCSD, was elected for a three-year term.
“I am honoured and delighted to join the COAR Executive Committee. Open archives are an integral part of the research ecosystem and a driving force in the evolution of scholarly communication. I am convinced of the strength of their association at European and global level. It is with great enthusiasm that I pledge to support this momentum and work to increase its impact and visibility within the scientific community, as well as its recognition by research institutions and funders“. It is also evident in the CCSD’s contribution to the COAR Notify initiative, which develops and promotes the adoption of a standardised and interoperable method for linking research deposited in open archives.
