Presentation of the website

The CCSD (Center for Direct Scientific Communication – UAR3668) is a support and research unit of CNRS, Inria and INRAE, created in 2000. Its main mission is to provide tools, in the respect of open access principles, for archiving and the dissemination of scientific publications and data. The unit is located in Villeurbanne, France, and is attached to the CNRS Open Research Data Department (DDOR CNRS).
The blog is directed at the scientific community who uses the services developped by the CCSD: the HAL open archive and its portals, the conference management platform Sciencesconf, and the diamond open access journal platform Episciences. It aims to explain the functioning of the services, to keep users informed about updates, and to shed a new light on their content.
It is also directed at anyone interested in open archives.
