The hosting platform of overlay journals Episciences strengthens with the creation of a steering committee which met for the first time this autumn.
Committee members settled several missions:
- Follow-up of the existing epi-committees and creation of new ones
- Coordination between the journals and the platform
- Development of an international strategy
- Economic models
- Communication strategies
The members are:

For the time being, 2 epi-committees, created from the beginning of the project, are involved in the development of new journals. 11 journals have adopted this model : 5 in computing and applied mathematics, 3 in mathematics and 3 in human sciences and social sciences.
