COVID-19 : HAL eases access to scientific publications related to the epidemic

Written by CCSD

The CCSD is setting up on the HAL homepage a direct access to publications related to the COVID-19 epidemic.

In order to create the best possible conditions for the intense effort led by the French research forces, the circulation of all scientific information must be facilitated to enable decisive advances, particularly with regard to improving patient care. In this context, the French government requests free and public access to publications but also to data from research related to the COVID-19 epidemic in France.

To support the sharing effort of researchers and their teams, the CCSD is setting up on the HAL homepage a direct access to publications related to the COVID-19 epidemic. The query includes the words COVID19, SARS-Cov-2 and Coronavirus.

The user can thus consult and download the full text of all publications available in HAL. Publications whose text is freely accessible on another platform (bioRxiv, MedRxiv, publisher’s site) are also proposed: the user just has to click on the Open Access logo.

HAL is a multi-disciplinary archive: the user will therefore find studies in medicine and biology, as well as in statistics, political science or other research fields.
